WalleyTude & the Boys Club

So it is unfortunate that I work with a "man" whom on numerous occasions has been spoken to about his attitude problem and lack of professionalism. Since he is such close friends with the executives in the small company in Maynard MA where we both work, and I am the sole female in the department, these issues continue. Some of the executives have taken to telling him outright that I am the technical expert not him, then his reaction is to scream at me while said executives are out of the office.

Just yesterday I informed WalleyTude that a project I was working on would be ready two days before the deadline, having already passed the quality assurance testing. WalleyTude's response was to roll his eyes and respond "You should stop bragging". This is the third incident in the last year.

Second incident was in April (Aprill 2nd @ 815am to be exact) when WalleyTude chose to stand up at WalleyTude's desk in the one room office we all share. While speaking to one of the executives decides to start yelling and waving his arms exclaiming that I am completely incompetent and do not (after two years of running circles around WalleyTude according to the CTO) know how to do my job. This was WalleyTude's response to the CTO nominating me to train new employees instead of him.

The first incident was last year when WalleyTude's friend, an entry level employee, was restrained and carryed out of the office as the entry level employee's reaction to the entry level employee's work failing quality assurance review was to physically attack me. Instead WalleyTude explained to me that "People like me should learn to deal with this behavior". That was when WalleyTude's name was taken off my performance reviews.
